Mississippi rapper Lil 95 hails from the rural city of Guntown. The 22-year-old, born Jereard Sadler, is influenced by all genres of music. "I try to make it [my music] a universal sound but still a unique sound usually like party music," says Lil 95, adding that, "seeing people vibe to my music and give positive feedback inspires me to go harder." Lil 95 admits that a large portion of his drive comes from knowing he has to support his family. "I have a 2-year-old daughter that watches my every move and follows my every move so just being able to keep her happy and provide for her keeps me going," said Lil 95. Lil 95 is also driven by success. "The thought of touring the world doing shows performing my own music is really a dope concept." Lil 95 uses these thoughts and his current success to take his grind up a notch every time he gets behind the mic. Later, Lil 95 defines what success means to him. "Success to me is being able to live comfortably financially and just in general with no worries; just being able to enjoy life at your own pace on your own time." This philosophy often shows up in Lil 95's lyrics most notably in his single "The Truth."
